The Battalion Society annually awards bursaries to an eligible applicant for post-secondary education.

The bursary includes registration fees, tuition or other mandatory costs, as determined by the Society Board.  An applicant must be a Canadian citizen and an Alberta resident, and enrolled in a full time or part time (as defined by the educational institution) certificate, diploma or degree (undergraduate or post-graduate) program, at an accredited post-secondary institution (public or private); or in an accredited professional designation program or trade/vocational certification.

As part of the bursary application submission, the applicant must attach a mandatory essay of approximately 500 words in length.  The application, instructions and topic of the essay will be published annually by the Society.  The application form and details of the essay submission will be available in the Spring of 2019.
